Webster University was established in 1915 as Loretto College. Located in Webster Groves, Missouri, the university is a non-denominational institution that was founded by the Sisters of Loretto. Webster University Application Requirements
Applications to Webster University may be sent to the institution on a rolling basis. All applications are reviewed by the admissions committee when they are complete, and all documentation has been received. To be considered for admission, students must submit the official application, a fee of $35, and official high school transcripts. The application process also requires standardized test scores.
Some students may be asked to submit an essay of 300 to 500 words on a topic of the student’s choosing, as well as a resume that offers details on community activities, school involvement, and awards received. For graduate students, tuition rates are also charged per credit and by the program. Online courses and Irvine campus classes are $780 per credit. Campuses in St. Louis charge $750 per credit. Other metropolitan campuses charge $630 per credit. The university offers tuition rate reductions for military students, as well as tuition rates charged by the term rather than by the credit for some programs.
The university helps students secure financial aid like grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study but requires that students formally apply for their financial aid.
