The Certificate of Completion in Digital Arts: Graphic Design prepares students to work in a specialized area of graphic design. The program focuses on design and production principles and helps students acquire the needed knowledge and skills to solve graphic design and layout issues. A total of 22 credits are needed to complete the program. The required courses include: Introduction to Computer Graphic Art, Two-Dimensional Design, Computer Aided Graphic Arts, Art of Web Site Design, Computer-Photographic Imaging, Introduction to Digital Photography,

Associate in Applied Science in Digital Arts-Digital Arts Track Graphic Design is intended for students seeking to develop or advance multimedia abilities in graphic design. Associate in Applied Science in Web Designer fives students a set of abilities to develop simple websites with static information. A total of 64 credits are needed to complete the program. The required courses include: Adobe Animate: Digital Animation, Adobe Photoshop: Digital Imaging, Internet/Web Development, Introduction to Javascripting, Flash: Advanced Animation and ActionScript, College Critical Reading and Critical Thinking, Internet Web Development: Dreamweaver, E-Commerce, XML Application Development, and Society and Business. Mesa Community College is a public community college located in Mesa, Arizona. It is the biggest of ten colleges within the Maricopa County Community College District. The Maricopa County Community College District is the largest community college district in the country by enrollment. Mesa Community College was founded in 1963 as an extension campus of Phoenix College. It started out with 330 students. In 1965 the college became a separate entity and changed its name to Mesa Community College. The college continued to expand by moving to a new location and adding new academic programs. It gained accreditation in 1967. Today, Mesa Community College is home to more than 20,000 students. It operates on the semester-based academic calendar.

Federal Work Study

The Federal Work Study program is a special financial aid program funded by the federal government. Students are able to work on campus for up to 19.5 hours a week. They receive a paycheck every two weeks. The pay varies by student situation, but the hourly rate is at least the current federal minimum wage.
